    Camp Tatiyee Every year the Laveen lions donate time and funds to Lions Camp Tatiyee. The camp has been in service for 46 years and during that time has served thousands of challenged individuals who would never have had a camp experince otherwise. Starting with a single cabin housing 12 Camp Tatiyee has grown into an enterprise capable of handling over 600 campers in a season. All ages are welcome!
    Camp Tatiyee Land Campaign The Laveen Lions substantial funds to the Tatiyee land campaign on annual basis. The funds are used to purchase land adjacent to the camp to guarantee Camp Tatiyee can grow to meet future needs.
    Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation At the international convention in 1925, none other than Helen Keller herself, challenged the Lions to become "Knights of the Blind". The Lions accepted this challenge and the Sight and Hearing Foundation will no doubt be one of their proudest legacies. The Lions mission is no less than to elimiante preventable blindness and the effort has global dimensions with Lions clubs around the globe all committed in a joint collaboration.
    Melvin Jones Memorial In 1917 Melvin jones founded the International Lions Clubs. With 1.35 million members in over 45,000 clubs in 200 countries the Lions are the largest Service CLub organization in the world today. The Laveen Lions gladly donate funds toward the up-keep and maintenance of his memorial and museum located in Fort Thomas, Arizona.
