Cesar Chavez High School - The Snack Bar of Champions

When Cesar Chavez High School first opened in 1999 students set their sights high and voted to select “The Champions” as their mascot.

And for the past four years, the Laveen Lions Club has been a proud supporter of the Champions through the operation of a snack bar at each of the home football games.

Laveen Lions Club members spend game nights serving up traditional football faire of hotdogs, nachos, sodas and Gatorade to hungry fans. Best of all, proceeds from the snack bar go to help Chavez students become Champions. Funds raised are split evenly between academic scholarships and sports uniforms and equipment for deserving students.

So come out for a Cesar Chavez High School football game. While enjoying America’s favorite Fall sport, stop by the Laveen Lions Snack Bar, meet a few of our members, purchase a delicious snack or two, and proudly support our local Champions.

Cesar Chavez High School is located at 3921 West Baseline Road. Upcoming home football games are scheduled for Friday evenings, September 8th, 15th and 29th, October 6th and 27th (Homecoming).
