For nearly thirty years the Laveen Lions have joined Laveen
Elementary School in conducting a holiday drive. Last year, 88
local families received holiday packages filled with life’s necessities.

| Laveen Lions Annual Parade |
Enjoy a festive holiday season then join the Laveen Lions Club for the Annual
Laveen Community Appreciation Parade. Scheduled in February's beautiful weather,
the parade runs west on Dobbins Road between 43rd and 51st Avenues.

| Lions Sight and Hearing |
Members of our club participate in a vision and hearing screening
program for Laveen students and provide new eyeglasses for those in need.

| Used Eyeglass and Hearing Aid Collection |
Last year the Laveen Lions collected over 2,000 pair of glasses for
recycling and Lions at large about he globe collected over 5 million pairs.
The glasses and hearing aids are distributed about the globe via the club network
and special sight missions to over 70 foreign countries.

Members of our club clean up Dobbins Road between
43rd & 59th Avenue to keep the commun ity looking sharp.

Lions perform a history program and donate American flags to each 1st grade student.
